The Story of Kano

Kano, one of Nigeria's oldest cities, has been a center of trade, learning, and culture for over a millennium. From the ancient Kano City Walls to the vibrant Kurmi Market, our city has been a crossroads of civilizations, where diverse cultures have met, mingled, and created something unique.

The First Kano Festival of Arts and Culture represents a new chapter in this rich history, bringing together traditional and contemporary expressions of our cultural identity.
